Privacy policy

Last updated: [date].

Draft — to be completed and checked by a lawyer before launch.

Who we are

This policy covers rensole.com, the website of Rensole.

[Data controller: legal name, company form and registered address — see the legal notice.]

For anything about your personal data, write to [email protected].

Booking a call

Bookings are handled by Cal.com.

When you book, Cal.com's form asks for your name and email, and any notes you want to add.

[The form can also take the email addresses of guests you invite. Confirm the fields before launch.]

We receive these details through Cal.com.

Cal.com's script loads only when you point at, focus or tap a booking link, or as soon as you open the contact page. Until then your browser doesn't connect to Cal.com.

[The booking widget is set to pass any parameters in this page's address (for example, from a link you followed) on to Cal.com. Say so here, or turn the setting off before launch.]

[What Cal.com records from your visit and your booking — check Cal.com's privacy policy and link it here.]

[The call itself runs on Google Meet, as set in the Cal.com event (checked 24 Oct 2026). Confirm, and say what Google receives.]

Writing to us

If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and your message.

Newsletter and article forms

The newsletter form asks for your email address, for one email a month at most.

The article form asks for your name, your company (optional) and a work email, so we can send you the full piece.

[The forms send what you enter to this site's own endpoints, which store it with the site's host (Cloudflare KV, once the site is deployed there). Say so here, with how long it is kept and how to unsubscribe.]

Cookies and analytics

This site's own code sets no cookies. It remembers two choices in your browser: that you closed the call-to-action card (for the rest of your visit) and your cookie settings. See the cookie policy.

It uses no analytics or tracking tool of its own.

The fonts and images are part of this site: no font or image service is involved.

[Cal.com's script runs inside these pages and may set cookies or store data in your browser — to check. The host, once chosen, may add its own — check its settings. If any of them does, or if analytics is added, decide whether a consent banner is needed.]

Links to other sites

The LinkedIn button and the AI assistant links in the footer — ChatGPT, Claude and Le Chat (Mistral) — are plain links.

Nothing goes to those sites unless you click. If you do, their privacy policies apply. The AI assistant links open with a question about Rensole already filled in.

Why we use it

[For each use — bookings, emails, the newsletter, article requests — the purpose and the legal basis. To confirm with the lawyer.]

Where it is kept, and for how long

  • The site's host: [Name; what its server logs record, such as IP addresses; where; for how long.]
  • Cal.com: [Where bookings are stored, and for how long.]
  • [Google]: [If the call runs on Google Meet: what Google keeps, where, and for how long.]
  • Email: [Cloudflare Email Routing (per the 24 Oct DNS check) and the mailbox it forwards [email protected] to: name both; where; for how long.]
  • Newsletter and articles: [Cloudflare KV (the site's host), once deployed: where; for how long.]
  • Our own records: [Anything we keep ourselves, such as notes from a call; where; for how long.]

[If any of this leaves the EU, name the terms each transfer relies on.]

Your rights

To use your rights under the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), write to [email protected].

[List the rights, checked by the lawyer: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability (GDPR Arts 15–18, 20 and 21), and withdrawing consent where consent is the basis.]

[Reply time: the GDPR sets one (Art. 12(3)). State it here.]

[You can also complain to a supervisory authority: name it, with its contact details — to confirm.]
